This memorandum provides information regarding the satellite downlink of a conference sponsored by the National Association of State Directors of Special Education (NASDSE). The teleconference, “The New IDEA: What it Says and What it Means for States and Schools” will be broadcast on November 19, 2003, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 CST.
The presenters will address the new language in the IDEA, focus on important issues and provide their views as to what these mean for states and schools.
Attached is the technical information for downlinking the broadcast, as well as, information about the presenters. There is no fee for accessing this teleconference. Individuals wishing to view this teleconference will need to check with the educational services cooperative in the local area to see if the co-op will downlink this teleconference. Any group that has the capability to downlink may do so free of charge.
