Arkansas’ African-American Heritage Teacher’s Workshop will be Saturday, February 14, 2004, in Little Rock at the Museum of Discovery. The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. Dr. Pat McGraw, humanities scholar and performer, and Berna Love, Director of Programming for the Museum of Discovery, will conduct the workshop, which is appropriate for K-12 classroom teachers and administrators. Dr. McGraw will address “The 3 A’s: African, American, Arkansan: Heroes and Sheroes.” The workshop and lunch are free, but pre-registration is required.
