The Arkansas Department of Education will hold a public hearing on the Proposed Rules Governing a Comprehensive Plan for Consistency and Rigor in Course Work that were approved by the State Board of Education for public comment at the December 8, 2003 meeting.
The public hearing has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 9, 2004, at 1:30 p.m. in the Auditorium of Arch Ford Education Building, #4 State Capitol Mall, Little Rock, Arkansas.
Copies of the proposed revisions may be obtained at the Arkansas Department of Education, Office of Legal Counsel, #4 Capitol Mall, Room 404-A, Little Rock, AR 72201 or refer to the attached draft copy.
Written comments regarding the proposed rules will be accepted until Thursday, March 4, 2004, via e-mail or mail to:
