The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE), Special Education Unit, will provide training for special education administrators on the English Language Learners’ Module for Paraprofessionals as well as provide information concerning a teacher training video on portfolio assessment and other issues of interest.
The training will be conducted on March 22, 2004 at the Embassy Suites, 11301 Financial Centre Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM. Lunch will be provided. The paraprofessional training session will cover the training manual and materials. Additional information concerning paraprofessional training and facilitating the training will be presented. All special education administrators are expected to facilitate the paraprofessional training locally and are required to attend this training session.
A block of rooms at the single occupancy rate of $89 has been reserved for the evening of March 21. The special group rate will apply until March 8, 2004.
