The 2004 Charter School Conference sponsored by the Arkansas Department of Education will be held Thursday and Friday, May 6-7, 2004. The conference will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Little Rock. The featured speaker will be Mr. Doug Thomas, Director of the Minnesota Gates-Ed Visions Project. Mr. Thomas has successfully created a new concept of the rural public school.
