At its regular meeting on Monday, April 12, 2004, the State Board of Education adopted for public comment Rules pursuant to implementation of statutes enacted during the Second Extraordinary Session of the 2003 General Assembly. Those proposed Rules can be viewed and copied as necessary from the Department of Education Web Site using the following URL.

Public hearings are scheduled for May 12 and May 13. Details for the schedule of the hearings can also be found at the cited Web Site.
