This memorandum provides information regarding the satellite downlink of a conference sponsored by the National Association of State Directors of Special Education (NASDSE). The teleconference “School-Based Mental Health” will be broadcast on May 5, 2004, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m. CDT.
The presenters will address the shared opportunity education and mental health agencies have in working with parents to make collaboration a reality. Presenters will share research and suggested practices to consider, as well as the successful experiences of a state team, which will relate how it became a community of practice around education and mental health.
Attached is the technical information for downlinking the broadcast, as well as, information about the presenters. There is no fee for accessing this teleconference. Individuals wishing to view this teleconference will need to check with the educational services cooperative in their local area to see if the co-op will downlink this teleconference. Any group that has the capability to downlink may do so free of charge.
