The Arkansas Departments of Education, Special Education, and Human Services, Division of Behavioral Health, hereby announce a Request for Proposals (RFP) to encourage the development, implementation, and evaluation of integrated School-Based Mental Health/Positive Behavioral Support Services to select Arkansas schools focusing on prevention, strategic intervention, and intensive service delivery of crisis management to address the social/emotional and behavioral needs of school-aged students. This initiative is open only to Community Mental Health Centers (CMHCs) that have formally linked services with a school district(s) in their geographically defined service delivery area. Applications must be written, and later executed, as a collaborative effort between the mental health agency(ies) and school district(s) involved in this program.
