Attached are the preliminary calculations of Alternative Learning Environment (ALE) Program Funding and English Language Learners (ELL) Funding Aid for school year 2004-2005.
These calculations are in compliance with Act 59 of the Second Extraordinary Session of 2003 and the proposed "Rules Governing the Distribution of Student Special Needs Funding for Fiscal Year 2005". It is possible that the ALE calculations will change. The ELL Projections are based on 2004 data. These numbers will be updated with 2005 data.
The Department will publish the first official funding distribution in a printout to be available in mid-July.
