The conference was a great success!

802 registered

30 vendors participated

Many people made personal lifestyle changes as well as taking valuable information back to the classrooms, schools, community, and to their families. One comment from a professor of pediatrics summed up the conference well.

“The conference was wildly successful in my opinion. We are hitting the tipping point in Arkansas and the timing was incredible as so many folks came here to learn about BMIs which they did, but are now learning about all the other aspects of childhood obesity. There was a real “can do” attitude out there and I have to feel very optimistic about the public’s health.”
