In order to assist school districts in preparing for 2004-05 Comprehensive Compliance Monitoring, the Standards Assurance Unit will conduct training sessions at education service cooperatives in September. Please see the attached list of districts designated for Comprehensive Compliance Monitoring during the 2004-05 school year (10/18/04 – 4/29/05); only designated districts should attend training sessions. Participants could include one district administrator and a principal or designated Compliance Monitoring leader from each building; participants are responsible for bringing copies of attachments to this memo to training sessions. The presentation and the 2004-05 checklist will include additional items mandated for initial implementation in 2004-05. Each education service cooperative will sponsor one training session; all training sessions are scheduled for 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Please see list of host education service cooperatives and training dates.
