The Arkansas Comprehensive Literacy Model, in connection with the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, has been implemented in elementary schools across the state and in Missouri, Michigan, California, North Carolina, Wisconsin, and Illinois. On Wednesday, October 13, 2004, administrators will have an opportunity to learn more about the model at the Arkansas Reading Recovery and Comprehensive Literacy Conference to be held at the Statehouse Convention Center Ballroom in downtown Little Rock.
