The Department of Education, Special Education Unit, will host a statewide videoconference on Monday, September 20, 2004. Equipment reception testing time will begin at 8:30 a.m., and the conference will be held from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Those interested in participating in the interactive videoconference may do so at one of the fifteen regional service cooperatives and the Department of Education site at Maumelle. No pre-registration is required for this conference.
The subject of this videoconference will be guidance for school districts on the implementation of the revised Rule for Special Education Catastrophic Occurrences. Training materials needed for the videoconference will be available for downloading on the Special Education website, http://arksped.k12.ar.us, on September 15, 2004.
