School district personnel policies and salary schedules for both certified and classified employees shall be filed with the Department of Education by September 15, 2004. A.C.A. 6-17-201 states, "No school district shall receive in any year any funds from the Public School Fund until the district has filed by the established deadline its current personnel policies, including any salary schedules as required by this subchapter, signed by the president of the board. The policy and schedules shall be filed with the Department of Education no later than September 15 of each year."
The Department requests each district submit personnel policies and salary schedules in electronic format; ie: Microsoft Word, WordPerfect or PDF. The electronic documents may be submitted via disc, CD or email. Emails should be sent to Yvonne Williams at ywilliams@arkedu.k12.ar.us.
