A public comment period for the Proposed Rules Governing "Highly Qualified" teachers, pursuant to the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, is scheduled for Friday, September 24, 2004, at the Arkansas Department of Education Auditorium in Little Rock, AR, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Attached are the proposed rules, four pages, with Appendix A, one page.
