School districts are required to hold an Annual School Election. School districts must comply with various legal requirements concerning budget publication, school tax rates, and school elections. The Department provides suggestions to assist school districts in meeting the requirements, along with sample budgets and sample ballots.

The 2005 Annual School Election Requirements and Timelines, Sample Budgets, and Sample Ballots are attached. Please note, Section B does not apply to districts that hold an annual millage election prior to September 20, 2005.
