The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE), Professional Quality Enhancement office announces the annual Teacher and Administrator Induction update meetings. One meeting will be held at each Education Cooperative. Information to be shared will cover ADE Rules for Licensure (for both Teachers and Administrators), Induction Guidelines, Induction Polices and Procedures, which includes the Praxis III performance assessment, Teacher Recruitment and National Board Teacher Licensure.
Every school district is required to have representation at the respective Cooperative meeting. Each school district has two attendance slots reserved for the:
Mentoring Project Director (required)
School District Bookkeeper (if the Bookkeeper has never attended an update meeting) District Superintendent and/or Personnel Director
All reservations are made through the Teacher Center Coordinator at each respective Educational Cooperative. Additional attendee space may be requested by calling the designated Cooperative person listed on the attached meeting schedule.
