Act 1672 of 2005 reorganized the Department of Education. The effective date of the act is July 1, 2005. Therefore, beginning July 1, 2005, the Department of Education “Director’s Memos” will be renamed “Commissioner’s Memos.”
The new numbering structure for Commissioner’s Memos will be aligned to the new Department Structure. The new numbers to be used for memos are the following:
Commissioner’s Office will be COM-06-000
Fiscal and Administration Services will be FIN-06-000
Learning Services will be LS-06-000
Human Resources/Licensure will be LIC-06-000
Research and Technology will be RT-06-000
Effective July 1, 2005, Commissioner’s Memos from the Department will adhere to the new numbering system.
