Pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated § 25-15-201 et seq., notice is hereby given that the Arkansas Commission of Public School Academic Facilities & Transportation and the Arkansas Division of Public School Academic Facilities & Transportation is considering the promulgation of new rules. Public hearings will be held on the proposed rules on the following dates and times at the Department of Education’s Auditorium, #4 Capitol Mall, Little Rock, AR 72201:
* July 28, 9:00 a.m. Proposed Rules for the Specifications Governing School Bus Design;
* 10:30 a.m. Proposed Rules Governing Maintenance and Operation of Arkansas Public School Buses and Physical Examinations of School Bus Drivers.
Written comments should be mailed to the Office of Mike Simmons, #4 Capitol Mall, Slot 16, Little Rock, AR 72201 by August 15, 2005. Copies of the proposed revisions are attached.
