This is to announce that the title of Common Core curriculum is now changed to be Core curriculum. For example, beginning with the seventh grade class of the 2004-2005 academic year, the Smart Core curriculum and Core curriculum are to be standard components of the required course of study to graduate from Arkansas public schools. Students are to enroll in the Smart Core curriculum, unless parents choose to substitute enrollment in the Core curriculum on the attached Informed Consent form.
