NORMES will provide a limited data set, EOC/High School Literacy 2005, in order to expedite the completion of Academic Improvement Plans for students scoring below proficient on the high school literacy exam and end of course exams in algebra and geometry. In addition, NORMES will update the mathematics and literacy AIP custom report buttons to produce 2005 Academic Improvement Plans (AIP) for high school literacy and end of course exams only. The data set will be available in E-Guide Friday, September 2, 2005 by 3:00 p.m.
The 2005 AIP custom report button will be available for download from the E-Guide website at http://normes.uark.edu. Click on E-Guide for Educators. Click on Custom Add-Ins. Scroll down to the 2005 Academic Improvement Plan buttons for mathematics and literacy. Right click on the link and click Run or Open (depending on the options that appear). Click through all the defaults to install the buttons.
The new NORMES web-portal for E-Guide for Educators technology will be available beginning October 3, 2005. Complete 2005 data sets and associated Arkansas Education Analysis Reports will be developed for the new technology and available after this date via the new technology. Any earlier 2005 data releases, including the spring 2005 ITBS results, will be posted to the E-Guide libraries as the data becomes available.
