The next Distance Learning Workshop entitled:  “What’s Up?  The Cost of the School Lunch Program” will be held on October 6, 2005, from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm.  During this Workshop, Barbara Smith and Karen Franklin will discuss costing and cost-cutting ideas for child nutrition programs.

The educational cooperatives that will be hosting the training sessions are listed on the attached registration form.  Be sure to indicate the educational cooperative that the participants will attend.  THE DISTRICT MAY NEED TO CONTACT THE EDUCATIONAL COOPERATIVE TO REGISTER. 

The Workshop is open to all child nutrition directors.  The registration fee is $10.00 for each participant.  REGISTRATION DEADLINE is SEPTEMBER 29, 2005.  Materials needed for this Workshop will be mailed.

The training will be cancelled at any site that does not have a registered participant by the deadline.  Please copy and complete a separate registration form for each participant.
