Attendance at an orientation  for National Board for Professional Teaching Standards state-funding-support is required for Arkansas public school teachers and counselors to receive the application for State-funding-support for National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certification.

National Board for Professional Teaching Standards state-funding-support orientation dates for 2006 are: 

         *  Saturday, April 8, 2006
         *  Saturday, April 22, 2006
         *  Saturday, May 6, 2006

State-funding-support orientation registration forms will be available in late February 2006.  Forms will be downloadable from the Arkansas National Board for Professional Teaching Standards web page at: http://arkedu.state.ar.us/teachers/certification_program.html.
