Join the Child Nutrition Unit for the next Distance Learning Workshop, “Expanding Breakfast,” that will be held on November 3, 2005, from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm. During this Workshop, Cricket Scott and Jerry Swope will present “School Breakfast for First-class Learning!” The training will teach ways to increase breakfast participation through various practices; and reveal how to communicate the importance of school meals and the advantages of a morning meal to schools and communities. Remember that National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) is March 6-10, 2006.
The educational cooperatives that will be hosting the training sessions are listed on the attached registration form. Be sure to indicate which educational cooperative the participant will attend.
EACH PARTICIPANT MUST CHECK WITH THE SELECTED EDUCATIONAL COOPERATIVE TO SEE IF IT IS NECESSARY TO REGISTER THERE AS WELL AS WITH THE ADE CHILD NUTRITION UNIT.
The Workshop is open to all child nutrition directors and managers. The registration fee is $10.00 for each participant. REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS OCTOBER 28, 2005. Materials needed for this Workshop will be mailed.
The training will be cancelled at any site that does not have a registered participant by the deadline. Please copy and complete a separate registration form for each participant.
