The Teachers of Tomorrow (TOT), in collaboration with the University of Central Arkansas (UCA), and the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE), invites all school districts to the Fifth Annual Spark Interest in Teaching Conference. The registration will begin on November 10, 2005, at 9:00 Reynolds Auditorium on the campus of UCA, Conway, Arkansas. This year's guest speaker is Stanley Leone, Jr. Mr. Leone attended Saint Xavier University in Chicago on football and academic scholarships and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. Mr. Leone has been recognized as an All-American Scholar and a multiple-year recipient of the National Dean’s List.

TOT is a pre-professional teaching organization that originated with Little Rock, Pulaski County Special, and North Little Rock School Districts. The partnership has extended to include the University of Central Arkansas, University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, Henderson State University, and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. The collaborative goal of the group has been to create, encourage and support clubs that recruit outstanding minority students motivated toward preparation for a career in teaching. Over 1,000 students have registered in clubs this fall.

The theme of the conference is "I am a LIFE Toucher- I teach!” Please complete the attached registration forms as soon as possible.
