According to the distance learning rules adopted by the Arkansas Department of Education on July 11, 2005, all distance learning courses must be approved prior to the courses being offered or taught by a public school district or charter school. The distance learning approval forms for Spring 2006 and Summer 2006 courses must be submitted by November 16, 2005, at 4:00 pm. The course approval process is scheduled to take 10 days. Applicants need to fill in each item on the form and provide a detailed syllabus of the course. Only include ONE course on each form. Notifications regarding course approvals will be e-mailed to the administrator at the origination site.
