This memorandum provides information regarding the satellite downlink of a teleconference sponsored by the National Association of State Directors of Special Education (NASDSE). The teleconference will be the first Reading Rockets Series for the 2005-2006 school year and will downlink on November 2, 2005, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. The title of the downlink is “Differentiated Reading Instruction: Teaching Every Child.”
The presenters will outline the most effective strategies teachers can use to address the many different needs of each student so that students capable of learning to read won’t fall behind.
Attached is the technical information to downlink the broadcast, as well as, information about the presenters. There is no fee for accessing this teleconference. Individuals wishing to view this teleconference will need to check with the educational services cooperative in the area to see if the cooperative will downlink the teleconference. Any group that has the capability to downlink may do so free of charge.
