School districts, co-ops, open-enrollment charter schools, and state-operated educational programs are reminded of the importance of the upcoming Arkansas Public School Computer Network (APSCN) Cycle 4 data submission requirements for special education child count and special education personnel. APSCN Cycle 4 closes on December 15, 2005.
The Arkansas Department of Education, Special Education Unit must report these data to the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) by February 1, 2006. To ensure the highest accuracy in data reporting to OSEP, the Special Education Unit provides districts an opportunity to review the December 1, 2005, child count and personnel data.
Beginning January 3, 2006, district special education supervisors can review and modify the Special Education child count and personnel data through MySped Resource on the Special Education website at http://arksped.k12.ar.us.
Cycle 4 child count review tables for each district can be accessed from MySped Resource through the Students link. Cycle 4 personnel tables can be accessed from MySped Resource through the Personnel link.
The web link for this review will be de-activated on January 20, 2006.
