Join the Child Nutrition Unit for the next Distance Learning Workshop, “PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF NUTRITION STANDARDS” that will be held on December 1, 2005 from 1:00pm until 4:00pm. During this Workshop, Wanda Shockey, Director of the Child Nutrition Unit, and Sheila Brown, Assistant Director, will discuss nutrition standards that have been approved by the Arkansas Board of Education for all Arkansas Public Schools. Also covered will be some frequently asked questions about nutrition.
The educational cooperatives that will be hosting the training sessions are listed on the attached registration form. Be sure to indicate which educational cooperative the participant will attend.
EACH PARTICIPANT MAY NEED TO CHECK WITH THE SELECTED EDUCATIONAL COOPERATIVE TO SEE IF IT’S NECESSARY TO REGISTER THERE AS WELL AS WITH THE ADE CHILD NUTRITION UNIT.
The Workshop is open to all child nutrition directors and managers. The registration fee is $10.00 for each participant. The REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS NOVEMBER 25, 2005. Materials needed for this Workshop will be mailed.
The training will be cancelled at any site that does not have a registered participant by the deadline. Please copy and complete a separate registration form for each participant.
