Act 1820 of 2005 amended Arkansas Code Section 9-28-208 relative to an Order of commitment of a juvenile. One of the provisions added to the statute requires that the committed juvenile’s school or current educational setting shall transmit the education record, as defined by Department of Education rule, to the Division of Youth Services within ten (10) school days from the request from the Division of Youth Services.
