The Department of Information Systems (DIS) files a statewide Erate application for Internet Access and Distance Learning on behalf of all public school districts and open-enrollment charter schools. For the Funding Year 2006 state application, DIS is being required to submit the total amount each district is budgeting for the non-eligible portions used for Internet Access and Distance Learning, such as hardware/software, professional development, and maintenance required to support the services on the state application.
Attached is a document including two budget sheets: one for Internet Access and one for Distance Learning. Each district and open-enrollment charter school MUST complete these forms to identify the amount in the budget for the Erate non-eligible items listed.
