The preliminary 2005 Millage Report is attached. Taxes based on 2005 millage rates are collectible in 2006. County clerks provided the source documents to support the data presented in this preliminary report. Pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. § 6-14-115(c) the county clerk of the county in which the school district is administered is required to submit a certified copy of the certification of election and ballot to the Commissioner of Education.
This preliminary report shows the millage rates that resulted from millage elections held during 2005. These millage rates have not been adjusted for rollback provisions. Rollback data is provided by the Assessment Coordination Department. This preliminary report will be updated and finalized when the rollback data is provided. As this report is preliminary containing only election data provided directly from the county clerks, each district is asked to compare the data in this report against the records and report any discrepancies to Cindy Hedrick at the number shown below.
Four districts that were consolidated or annexed under Act 60 of the Second Extraordinary Session of 2003 have not voted a unified millage rate. The millage rates of each former district are listed separately in this report.
