The Arkansas Council of Teachers of Mathematics announces the following regional and state contests for secondary students. The regional contest will be held at 12 sites on Saturday, March 11, 2006. Contact regional directors on the attached list for details about the regional sites. The state competition will be at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway on Saturday, April 8, 2006.
Students enrolled in Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-calculus, Trigonometry, and Calculus I may compete for trophies and other awards. Students must register and compete at the regional level to be eligible to compete at the state level.
