In compliance with the provisions of A.C.A. §6-20-2201 et seq, the 2004-2005 Annual Statistical Report (ASR) of the Public Schools of Arkansas and the Education Service Cooperatives was published on February 15, 2006.
Several changes have been made to this year's report. Additional expenditure data, such as categorical funding, has been included. This year's report also includes budgeted data for 2005-2006. The appendix in this document includes Arkansas Public School Computer Network (APSCN) coding specifications for each line item in the report.
The information contained in this report was obtained from the 2004-2005 Annual Financial Report and Budget submitted in Cycle 1 due on September 15, 2005, by individual school districts. The information in this report has not been audited.
An Excel spreadsheet version of the ASR is available on the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) website via the "Publications" tab at http://arkedu.state.ar.us/.
Paper copies of the Report will be mailed to the Superintendents of all Arkansas School Districts. Any school district that does not want a paper version of the Report should indicate such via email to lkeys@arkedu.k12.ar.us by February 28, 2006.
The Rankings of Selected Items will be distributed at a later date. A Commissioner's Memo will announce the date and provide the Excel version of the report.
