The State Board of Education granted final approval to both the Emergency Amendment to the Rule Governing the Arkansas Comprehensive Testing, Assessment and Accountability Program and the Academic Distress Program and to the Rule Governing the Arkansas Comprehensive Testing, Assessment and Accountability Program and the Academic Distress Program on February 13, 2006.
The Rule was reviewed by the Legislative Council on February 2, 2006. The revised Rule established performance levels and cut scores for K-2.
In addition, the rule adds clarifying language in regards to academic improvement plans (AIPs) and intensive reading improvement plans (IRIs) for K-2.
