The Twenty-Fifth Annual Curriculum and Instruction Conference will be held at the Arlington Hotel in Hot Springs, Arkansas, on June 19-21, 2006. This event is co-sponsored by the Arkansas Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (AASCD) and the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE). The 2006 theme, “Reach Them All ~ Teach Them All Through Partnerships,” highlights the various partners as the participants work toward the ultimate goal of success for every student.
Dr. Douglas Reeves will be one of the featured speakers of the conference which also includes numerous concurrent sessions. Round table discussions of best practices from across the state and a three part seminar series, “Providing Focused and Sustained Professional Development in Schools,” will provide two new models of professional development this year as well. Each participant will receive certification of professional development credit in alignment with the ADE rules for professional development.
In addition to the annual golf tournament, the 2006 conference will offer a new social opportunity for networking with an evening cruise and dinner on the Belle of Hot Springs.
