Several Arkansas education laws have reporting requirements. Ark. Code Ann. §§ 6-16-123(d), 6-18-1105(c), and 6-16-124(c)(2), require legislative update on the following:
1. Progress report on implementation of Arkansas laws in district curricula
2. Report on schools and fundraising
3. Report on compliance with Arkansas history requirements
Each school district shall report to the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE), on a yearly basis, the statements of assurance found in the enclosed attachment. The ADE shall report this information on or before May 15 of each year to the House and Senate Interim Committees on Education.

The reports presented to the proper authorities will be based on the information received from public school superintendents by that date. ALL PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICTS MUST BE ACCOUNTED FOR IN THE REPORT TO THE LEGISLATURE; THE REPORT WILL INCLUDE A CATEGORY FOR LACK OF RESPONSE FROM SUPERINTENDENTS.
