The Arkansas Legislative Task Force On Sustainable Building Design and Practices in cooperation with sponsorship from the Division of Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation (DPSAFT), the Arkansas Department of Economic Development Energy Office, Arkansas Building Authority and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock is presenting a one day seminar entitled “Blueprint For Efficient Public Buildings”. DPSAFT, along with Senator Shane Broadway and Representative Joyce Elliott, extends an invitation to all school district superintendents, staff members and board members to attend.
Sustainable building design is a mainstay of the future of all public buildings, including school buildings. The major effort to enhance the learning environment of public school students must include the design of replacement facilities that are friendly to the environment and are designed for the least operating expense. Please take the time to attend this seminar and encourage district school board members and staff members to attend.
