The Child Nutrition Director’s Certification training will be held July 5-8 and 10-14, 2006, at the Brewer-Hegeman Conference Center on the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) campus. Registration will be Wednesday, July 5 from 10:30am until 11:30am. The first general session will begin at 11:30am. All other classes will be held daily from 8:00am-5:00pm. Lunch will be provided daily.
To attend Director Certification training, complete the following:
STEP 1
Review the attached Arkansas Child Nutrition Director Certification Program requirement. Complete the attached APPLICATION FOR ACCEPTANCE for the program and mail to:

The application will be reviewed to assure that it is complete and that education requirements and the required recommendations are included. THE APPLICATION FOR ACCEPTANCE DEADLINE IS MAY 19, 2006.
STEP 2
The applicant will be notified of acceptance into the program. Notification of acceptance will include the STEP 2 REGISTRATION FORM, which must be completed and mailed to UCA along with the registration fee. THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS JUNE 9, 2006.
STEP 3
UCA has made arrangements with several hotels in Conway to provide lodging while the workshop is in session. The list of hotels will be mailed with the REGISTRATION FORM. Participants must make reservations with the hotel by JUNE 5, 2006, to receive the discounted rates.
