The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE), the Arkansas Association of Alternative Educators, and the Pygmalion Commission on Non-traditional Education will provide two Alternative Learning Environment (ALE) trainings in Arkansas. This training opportunity will include information concerning the establishing and redeveloping of ALE programs. The emphasis of this interactive six (6) hour training opportunity will focus on Rules, standards, reporting, monitoring, forms, funding, and program development components for the enhancement of Alternative Learning Environment Programs.
Participants will have a choice of two training locations. The first training opportunity will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2006, at the Community Bank Building, 1325 Harrison Street, Batesville, AR. The Community Bank Building is located at the corner of Harrison Street and St. Louis Street. The second training opportunity is scheduled for Friday, May 12, 2006, at the Dawson Education Cooperative, 711 Clinton Street, Suite 201 in Arkadelphia, AR. Both trainings will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 3:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided at both functions.
