The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) Interpreter Education Program, College of Education, will offer a three-course series taught in collaboration with Utah State University to educate potential teachers and students in all majors about the impacts of deafblindness on a child’s development and education.
The Arkansas Department of Education, Special Education is offering tuition reimbursement to eligible paraprofessionals currently working with a child who is deafblind and/or multiply disabled AND who will commit to completing all three courses in the series over the next year and a half.

- Excellent option for elective credit or Continuing Education Units
- First course Fall 2006, second course Spring 2007, third course Fall 2007
- Tuition reimbursement by Arkansas Department of Education to awardees completing all three courses
Complete the attached application and submit it to June Richardson by July 7, 2006. The application may be faxed to 501-682-4248. Once the application has been reviewed and awards determined, awardees will receive notification and instruction on enrolling at UALR for this coursework.
