The commission for Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation approved the Academic Facilities Partnership Program projects on June 29, 2006. Commensurate with that approval was the initiation of the Long and Short Form Agreements to be entered into between the school districts and the Division of Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation, as pertaining to the partnership projects. Said agreements were posted for access on the Division’s website.
The Division has recently made changes to those agreements. Please review those changes and use the updated forms for future agreements.
The attention of superintendents and Co-op directors is directed to the Project Agreement Short Form Appendix A, which has been modified to eliminate many of the reporting requirements which were deemed unnecessary.
The attention of superintendents and Co-op directors is also directed to Project Agreement Long Form Appendix C, which has been modified to clarify the requirement for the inclusion of specific contract clauses in the architect/engineer contracts.
