The Commission for Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation approved the following revised lists of Academic Facilities Partnership Program Projects at the August 25, 2006, Commission Meeting. The project lists consist of both approved and disapproved projects for fiscal year 2006-2007 and replaces the list published on or about June 29, 2006. The most current list compensates for changes in project scopes to ensure that all projects conform to the Arkansas School Facility Manual. Districts are reminded of the right to appeal the Division’s recommendation. The Appeal Procedures to be followed are as outlined in Section 8.00 of the Arkansas Commission for Public School Facility and Transportation Rules Governing The Academic Facilities Partnership Program.
The Commission also recently approved minor modifications to the Partnership Program Project Agreements which are established in accordance with Ark. Code Ann. Sec. 6-20-2507. Districts are reminded that an Agreement must be executed for each Partnership Program project in order to receive state financial participation for the project. The Agreements establish the terms of the state’s financial participation and the conditions that must be satisfied by the school district.
