There have been significant reductions in the Title II-D technology funds for the last two fiscal years. Beginning this school year, 2006-2007, Title II-D formula grant funds are no longer available. It is anticipated that Title II-D competitive grant funds will be available, and that a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be distributed in late spring with grant awards being made during the summer of 2007.
Any Title II-D funds remaining from the 2005-2006 school year may be carried over to the 2006-2007 school year and should be budgeted in the 2006-2007 Arkansas Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (ACSIP). When appropriate conditions are met, the ability to transfer funds into or out of Title II-D is also still available.
