The School Improvement Section is extending the Arkansas Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (ACSIP) submission deadline from September 15 to October 1 for the 2006-2007 school year, and each year thereafter. This extension should allow sufficient time to fully develop the district’s ACSIP, as well as provide opportunity for quality technical assistance from the School Improvement Supervisor and facilitate a more efficient submission process.
This extended deadline in no way precludes a district from submitting the plan prior to the established date, nor does it automatically alter timeline dates for other reports developed and/or required by the Arkansas Department of Education.
