In order to keep Arkansas applicants informed of the changes that may affect their E-rate program application process, the Arkansas E-rate Work Group (AEWG) is offering in-depth training workshops to public/private schools and public libraries throughout the State of Arkansas via CIV-compressed interactive videoconferencing. Representatives from the Arkansas Department of Education, Department of Information Systems, and State Library are partnering together to provide the E-rate CIV Training Sessions.
Recently, there have been significant changes and updates made to the E-rate program. The SLD is continuing to work on another Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking that will impact entities applying for E-rate discounts in future years.
Topics of interest will include the new: Eligible Products and Services List, Understanding E-rate Rules, Technology Plans, Compliance Issues, Common Applicant Mistakes, Do’s and Don’ts of Submitting E-rate Applications, E-rate Forms, and E-rate Deadlines
