The Division of Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation will begin a training program in November 2006, to assist districts in preparing Master Plan updates as required by Act 1426 of 2005. The deadline for the Master Plan update submittals is February 1, 2007. The training will be hosted by the local Regional Cooperatives and conducted by the Division of Public School Facilities and Transportation.
Training information and guidelines for the Master Plan updates for 2007 may be found on the Division’s website at http//:www.arkansasfacilities.com.
District representatives must attend the training to receive information and computer system user access codes required to input the Master Plan update. Superintendents are asked to have the persons most closely associated with the district’s Master Plan attend this training. Specific dates and times will be as posted on the regional cooperative calendars.
