The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) Office of Teacher Quality is hosting a Beginning Administrator (BA) Induction Fall Follow-Up Training on Thursday and Friday, December 7 and 8, 2006. Beginning Administrators may register for either day of the two (2) day session. This one (1) day training (to be held at the Clarion Resort on the Lake, Hot Springs, Arkansas) is for all Beginning Administrators.
All school districts must assure that each Beginning Building Level Administrator and/or Curriculum/Program Administrator participates in all induction activities. Beginning Administrators are employed under an Additional Licensure Completion Program (ALCP), Initial Administrator License or Standard Administrator License with less than one-year of administrator experience. Administrators on an ALCP must participate in all trainings and all follow-up sessions during each year the Additional Licensure Completion Program is active.
Overnight accommodations are available for participants traveling more than 50 miles, one-way, to the training.
