The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) and the Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN) have established eight (8) TeacherLine courses that are available to licensed Arkansas educators at no charge. These eight courses are the only TeacherLine courses available to Arkansas educators at no charge.

For first time users, upon the initial selection of a TeacherLine Course, a free, 1-hour orientation course to prepare the user for online learning will be offered. Select the course and the TECH 101 Free Orientation Course Practice Learning Online with TeacherLine. This course is a pre-requisite for any online TeacherLine course. It is highly recommended that users take this orientation prior to the actual course starting date.
There are other non-TeacherLine courses in the Arkansas IDEAS portal that are free to all registered users and are approved for professional development credit.
The ADE has approved all PBS TeacherLine courses for professional development credit for all licensed Arkansas educators. However, the awarding of professional development credit is solely at the discretion of the local school district.
