The Easter Seals Arkansas Technology and Curriculum Access Center (TCC), in collaboration with the Arkansas Department of Education, will be offering workshops on the topic of Enhancing Communication and Collaboration Skills with Parents. This workshop is intended for special education teachers, related services providers, paraprofessionals, and administrators. The workshop is designed to assist staff in effective, positive communication with parents. Workshop topics will include learning to use a skilled dialogue approach when collaborating with parents. The format for this workshop is cooperative learning and demonstration. Seating is limited. There is a $25 per person fee.
The workshop is three (3) hours long and will be offered twice, once from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, and again from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Certificates will be given at the end of each workshop session.
